Instructor quote:

"I am happy to work with all ages -- my students have ranged from age 3 to age 75. One of my most favorite memories as a tutor was when I helped a grandmother learn basic English so she could begin to communicate with her granddaughter. No one is too old or too young

to learn a new language!" -- Janelle, Founder and Tutor

I feel that I was very lucky to meet Janelle. She helped me a lot with my TOEFL scores and during such a short time as one month she helped me to increase my TOEFL scores. She was especially helpful with grammar and writing skills. The points I learned through my lessons with Janelle make me very comfortable in writing and conversation and decrease my routine errors in my daily writing such as emails. Moreover, I like her personality as she is very polite, responsible and on time person. She is very precise and I am using her valuable experience in my application process for several universities.

My son is going to be a 7th grader in the coming fall. He loves reading, but not writing. That is why we have Janelle as his tutor during the summer. Janelle is a very structured and energetic young lady with many teaching strategies. She is very familiar with the middle school curriculum. After one lesson, my son told me he likes her, since she made writing fun. After seven lessons, he has even started to like writing and his summarizing skills are improving. We will continue to have Janelle as a tutor for the coming school year. We are very confident and expect my son's continuous progress in language art studies. Thanks Janelle!

We pride ourselves on helping students find the 'lightbulb' moment, whether that is getting the right answer on a test, feeling the satisfaction of having read and understood a book or text, giving an excellent presentation at work or school, or simply being able to communicate with English speakers around you and enjoy US culture!
